Photonic integrated circuits based on thin film lithium niobite (TFLN) are of interest for quantum applications. The broad optical spectrum from 450 - 4500 nm and low optical loss allow for a wide range of quantum computing and sensing applications. The TFLN wafers are processed in an ISO 9001 certified wafer process line. The photonic integrated circuits (PIC) designs are fabricated on dedicated wafer runs. Field of Application and applied technology • Quantum computing • Quantum cryptography (DV- and CV-QKD) • Quantum sensing Specifications Currently available building blocks for TFLN PIC designs: • High-speed phase shifters • Thermo-optic phase shifters • On-chip resistors • Fiber spot-size converters (edge coupling) • Low-loss waveguides • Multi-mode interferometer • Directional coupler Further building blocks with PDK will be available in 2025. Based on the PDK, multi project wafer (MPW) runs will be offered.
