Transmission measurements using tunable lasers or an optical spectrum analyzer and a broadband light source. Characterization of active componets like modulators and detectors using high speed equipment. Test equipment mainly for telecom wavelengths (1.3µm/1.55µm). Maximum bitrate is limited to 32 GBit/s.
